My parents recall her doing a dinner theater thing where we lived. She came out after the show and played some guitar and sang. They thought she was very personable.

In those days Elke was called "Sauerkraut Bardot".

Today, it seems that her hair looks like Sauerkraut.

But apart from this, she's a lovely person from good old Germany.

And I'm glad about that people outside of Germany do remember her. Her popularity wasn't so outstanding here.
