Subject: RE: Maritime Festival in Eastbourne From: bubblyrat Date: 24 Feb 14 - 06:32 AM Eastbourne ? East Sussex ? As an "Old Midhurstian" who grew up in the Cowdray Estate village of EASEBOURNE , I have to say that we doubted the very existence of both East Sussex AND Eastbourne !! The postman was often confused, too. |

Subject: RE: Maritime Festival in Eastbourne From: GUEST,FloraG Date: 24 Feb 14 - 03:56 AM Eastbourne is a great venue. A visit to Beachy Head, a walk along the prom etc. We are staying at the Congress hotel this weekend. The building is based on the old square idea with a large private ( ish ) garden common to all the buildings in the square. Just perfect if you have a dog. FloraG. |
