Can't really help there, though if memory serves (which, increasingly, it doesn't) the verses were spoken rather than sung with the tune coming in on the chorus. I remember requesting it at a folk club in Leeds back in 1983 - Richard fixed me with a hard stare and said, "Blimey. You're a simple soul, aren't you?". But he sang the song and, taking pity on a penniless student, gave me a copy of his cricket book 'Run Out In The Country" after the gig. Top man. |

I can only remember the tune for the chorus and cant find it listed on any albums, on Spotify, and his contacts on his website dont have it. Is it to be my destiny to only remember choruses of obscure songs ( i.e. Thread on Cider Time!) Lnda. |
