Bus Magnate Who's Buying Up All the World's Vinyl

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/10/magazine/the-brazilian-bus-magnate-whos-buying-up-all-the-worlds-vinyl-records.html

FGS. I hope that he only has one of each record and is not amassing thousands (millions) of duplicates.

Bycatch. Since he buys up entire collections, he'll get duplicates together with the records that are new to his collection. It will get worse as his collection increases.
Unfortunately, as he seems to buy without knowing the individual records bought, he will indeed need to buy all the world's record collections, even those consisting of just a single record specimen, to ensure he has every unique recording on vinyl in existence.

Makes you wonder how many specimen of vinyl records exist in the world today, doesn't it?

Bye

Looks like he has the helpers and money to do some organizing.

But it adds new meaning to the phrase "It boggles the mind."

Odd that, obsessive compulsive South American collectors ?

A few years ago, nearly all the Fuzz boxes being auctioned on ebay
were being snapped up by a Panamanian with aparently endless financial resources ???

I have well over 2,000 pounds of weight.

Thanks for the tip.

"LIMELIGHTERS" stay...the rest can go blowing in the wind.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle

The stuff is an Alabatros... how many sets of "Deep Purple" does one soul need?

Well, at least now we know whether "Nobody buys vinyl anymore!"

And to think, there are still only two grooves per record.
