I never thought I would get to see a show called The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. But it is on youtube, every episode. Good quality picture too. I have downloaded them all. Click the > to the right of the series line to move to the next episode.

The lead actor Leonard Rossiter was one of the UK's finest character actors, unfortunately it transpires some years after his death, his part in an alleged assault on a young actor is being investigated.

My understanding of that alleged '''''assault''''' was that (a)it was an uncorroborated story in one of the UK's more lurid tabloids at exactly the time the national hysteria about showbiz sexual misdemeanours was at its height, and (b) the substance, such as it was, consisted in Rossiter being an observer of an assault allegedly committed by another. Not that this reflects well on him, if it happened as it was salaciously reported, but the story had died a death until one contributor here chose to revive it.
