Subject: RE: Single String Capos From: Harmonium Hero Date: 25 Sep 15 - 07:07 PM For an aternative design, invented by a Swedish luthier, get on the Fylde Guitars website, click the news tab, go to June 2013 and look at the Nordic Mandola. And drool. Not sure how the capos work; I think you push them into holes in the fingerboard and twist to lock them, but I could be wrong. John Kelly. |

Subject: RE: Single String Capos From: GUEST,Ian Date: 26 Sep 15 - 04:47 AM Just look at that Nordic Mandola (with single string capos) on the Fylde Guitars link! Roger's instruments have me drooling. |
Subject: RE: Single String Capos From: Stanron Date: 26 Sep 15 - 07:23 AM The problem I see with the fretlocks is that they hold the strings above the frets. This will mean a high action and uncomfortable playing, unless you play slide. |
