Hi!

I have one of your saxophones. I bought it several years ago in Memphis, TN at a festival downtown. After raising my children I am getting my chops back and want to include my bamboo sax as well. I have misplaced my fingering chart. Is there anyway I can get one from you? I also had the one with no mouthpiece. I don’t know if you called it a flute or what but it got a crack in it.   I really hope you respond because your instruments are amazing.

Hi Jim,

I had bought a sax from you, a B5, many years ago at a Florida Renaissance Festival and it has been broken for years.
It has a large crack next to the mouth piece area and I had lost your contact information. I had tried to email you at
this email address many years ago and you never responded. I bought your sax because it was awesome sounding and
you gave a lifetime warranty on it.

Please let me know how to send this sax to you so that it can be either repaired or replaced.

Thank you kindly.

Hi, Leadfingers -
I'll betcha Jim Brock came across the thread when he Googled his own name. Sadly, Murray Adelman, who posted the question, died in 2002. He was a good guy.

I just got an unasked for catalog from a woodwind mail-order place. It has an intriguing item called a "Jim Brock Sax". It consists of a saxaphone mouthpiece and a bamboo body with some holes in it. They claim you finger it like a bamboo flute but it has a "deep dark sax sound". Has anyone had experience with one of these? I would be interested in comments and details such as what is the fingering for a bamboo flute compared, say, to a recorder or pennywhistle. Who is Jim Brock, anyway?

Murray
