Just been watching George on YouTube - yet again - to renew my faith in the power of biting wit, humour, perception and intelligence. Pity he's not around today - the modern age needs another Carlin.

George is my #1 man. My psyche is at least 25% George. He is with me daily when I find meatcake in the fridge or listen to a pundit and determine that he is ok, ok THERE, he's full of shit!

George Carlin was one of the greats, no question..

We still have Jon Stewart, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Stephen Colbert, who owe a lot to Carlin. If you haven't been paying attention to these people, start.
