There are question marks over his earlier political allegiances. He appears to have been a supporter of far-right groups.

The Wikipedia article on Kamprad says he was involved in a pro-Fascist movement. Later, he called his affiliation with the movement "the greatest mistake in my life." There's no indication of Fascist activities after the 1950s.
I retitled this to an "obit" thread. I don't see that we need one thread to memorialize a person and another to criticize him, although I do acknowledge that some people have a taboo about that.
