BS: ever hear of an actor named Colin Mace?

This name is new to me.
The actor is very much alive, well, and active.
But I'm a US native and he is UK so I have never encountered his name.

One of my favorite authors,
a lifelong US native whose publisher is a UK publisher
(it's a long boring story about fantasy fiction markets
and the mad nature of the book publishing business)
has had a recent breakthrough.
While this author is a prolific writer who has already had
previous books that were also released as audiobooks,
the author has an ongoing fantasy series which just had
a new book/installment published,
and for the first time,
the UK publisher agreed to spring for an audiobook
within that same series.
Colin Mace was the actor who got the job
and now the job is done,
and the audiobook is being prepared for release.

The author has reported to the fans (like me)
that a grand time was had by all,
with a wonderful job being done by Colin Mace,
while Mace responded with feedback entirely positive
that he loved the book and found the writing "magical."

So I am pre-disposed to favor the fellow.
Who already knows of him?

He was in Eastenders a few years ago, and he does the narration for documentaries.
He's in his late fifties I reckon.
