He worked with my uncle as a binman for years and attended night classes at a local technical college to gain his qualifications. He later became a PE teacher and became a deputy headmaster. I met him in the nineties on the Liverpool to Belfast ferry, he was attending an event at the Irish National Foresters, he told me he had a fear of flying and always took a ferry. Rest in peace |
