Subject: RE: BS: USA Sports Betting Legal From: Joe Offer Date: 17 May 18 - 02:51 AM I'm not sure I like seeing states legalize gambling. It has been a salvation for a good number of Native American tribes, and I'd like to see them continue to control the gambling industry in most states. Our local tribe has become quite wealthy, and they have poured a lot of money back into the community in the form of grants to nonprofits. Not every tribe has been able to benefit from gambling, but many have - four nice casinos that I know of in the Sacramento area. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: BS: USA Sports Betting Legal From: Charmion Date: 16 May 18 - 10:00 AM Legal sports betting offers a source of sin taxes that the states, I'm sure, will be quick to implement. Just think of the hospitals, roads and schools that could pay for! |
