It gets weirder.

I was going to Malvern Waitrose (Walmart it ain't) and they have put photo montages of the achievements of the Gov Techie establishment that played a huge part in things like radar developement during WW2.
And Uncle John G Trump was one of the Americans who were posted to the UK in Malvern. He was in charge of BBRL (a department developing radar).
