I always rated Steven Pinker. I have seen criticism of him straying from his specialism, but what I read then was a bunch of sour grapes.

Some people just don't get analogy, either that or pick holes by citing where the analogy never meant to stray.

Perhaps his nay-sayers have moderated his public opinions to his expertise plus where the Venn diagram touches. I would bet the house on his concern and erudition on climate change. In fact ................ watch the video!
