Subject: BS: happy rainy Easter weekend From: keberoxu Date: 18 Apr 19 - 12:58 PM Some parts of the world have had really frightening stormy weather during early April. I hope that the Easter weekend is more merciful for these. Here in eastern Massachusetts the spring rains are in force, thankfully we have no more snow or ice, although the wind is something to reckon with. Wishing all fellow Mudcatters a festive Easter, regardless. |
Subject: RE: BS: happy rainy Easter weekend From: Dave the Gnome Date: 19 Apr 19 - 03:44 AM Lovely here in North Yorkshire. Dunno how long it will last and, statistically, in the UK it is more likely to snow on Easter Sunday than Christmas Day! |

Subject: RE: BS: happy rainy Easter weekend From: Backwoodsman Date: 19 Apr 19 - 08:34 AM Beautiful here in The Backwoods, UK. Having spent last evening within six feet of Molly Tuttle, enjoying her great singing and astonishing guitar-talents, and now the lovely sunny day we have here, I’m a very happy Backwoodsman indeed! |

Subject: RE: BS: happy rainy Easter weekend From: robomatic Date: 19 Apr 19 - 09:19 PM If you're in Massachusetts, today is Patriot's Day, because on 19 April 1775 the American War of Independence began in Lexington and Concord Massachusetts. Here in Anchorage we awoke to 2" (5 Cm) of snow on the ground and swirling snow and low visibility. Extraordinarily late in the season as the city has just been removing all the gravel from the Winter. Now the sun has come up and we're over 40 F (4.5 C). But we are told we're in for a snowy Easter/ Passover weekend. |
Subject: RE: BS: happy rainy Easter weekend From: keberoxu Date: 19 Apr 19 - 11:03 PM actually Massachusetts observes Patriot's Day on a Monday, regardless ... |
