Pretty handy - 4 Olympic Golds and twice as many World Championship medals, and currently commentating for the BBC in Doha.

I have stopped over in Doha and feel it is one part of the world that should not hold a big population - e.g., note the outdoor air conditioning at the athletics stadium; but, alas, there has been a ridiculous amount of immigration to Qatar.

However, despite the poor attendance, I have been enjoying some of the athletics there; as I did the Museum of Islamic Art and the Souq Waqif on that 2017 stopover.

Still standing (about the height of a football crossbar), the great Cuban Javier Sotomayor's world record, but there is some mighty high jumping on right now in Doha.
