1) the Tory Twatter account re-named "FactCheckingUK"
2) Newspapers cloning local newspapers in at least 2 towns with referrences to the "Liberal" party in very small print in obscure places.



As someone said on Radio 4 (I quote) ideas coming from some idiot with too much influence

Hmmmmmmm I can think of one candidate. And this time it isn't Vladimir Putin.

No, it is worrying all right, Mr Red. But it of a piece with a great deal of other misrepresentation and propaganda of this campaign. I don't think there has ever been a clean campaign since I started voting, and probably not before, but there is no doubt that that the way social media is being exploited has brought this to a new level.

This thread was specifically about the way media is being used. Rather than the issues it is used to promulgate. As has been said, a new low level.

If all was fair, then the country will have their say. Or did I mean backlash?

No amount of electioneering will change my vote, or my husband's. We both have postal votes, and they are both safely away to the Cooncil counters. Wouldn't send them in so soon if I was unsure which way to vote, but no contest here!
