Subject: Tech: Simple notation and tab program for guit From: GUEST,Frank Date: 21 Mar 20 - 02:55 PM Hi Mucatters, All I need is a simple notational program that will convert guitar arrangements to tablature and show both notes and tab. It would be nice if the graphics were presentable. I am writing a book of my arrangements of folk songs for intermediate finger style guitar players. Any suggestions? Thanks for you advice. Frank |

Subject: RE: Tech: Simple notation and tab program for guit From: Stanron Date: 21 Mar 20 - 03:06 PM I use Musescore. It's free, works on Windows Mac and Linux and produces Notation, Tab or both at the same time. I enter notation and the program converts the notation to tab. I think it work the other way round but I've not tried it that way. There is an online manual which I have found really useful. |
