Confusing/confused news stories have him as possibly dead.
Rumors are that he may be dead, somewhat dead, or just gravely ill. Who knows, and it could be months before any facts actually squeak out.

Yeah, despite its long history, I wouldn't trust Murdoch's NY Post. They're the political equivalent of the Washington Times. The Kim family has ruled North Korea since 1948. The death of Kim Jong Un probably wouldn't change much.

I think this has been a recurring rumor. We really won't know until they have a funeral - and then we won't be sure.

It was coming from different sources. CNN, Fox News, USA Today, and others. Although the rumors weren't all the same. They went from he's in a vegetative state, to simply nobody's heard from him for a minute.
From my background, I'd say something's going on, but it really is too early to know what. Plus, the information isn't going to be forthcoming from North Korea.

I guess just "watch for more info".

Actually, the more perceptive news sources indicate that all it takes to locate him is a bit of trainspotting.

Ever since his dad had an innocent planeload of civilians bombed to get one guy, the Kims go everywhere on the rails for some reason.

While I have no love for this man, I find it strange that some here don't put the spotlight on their own leaders occasionally (any Americans here ?)
I find Trump's winding up the Doomsday clock far more of a threat than anything coming from North Korea
It's often forgotten that a large part of the responsibility for what happens in today's Korea lies with America's having partially succeded in BOMBING 'EM BACK TO THE STONEAGE
The US went on to further glories in Vietnam and Cambodia with their burning petrol and carcinogenic sprays
This in no way absolves the North Korean leaders from what happens there but all this wishing a tyrant dead seems a little Tweedledum good, Tweedledee bad to me

Sorry 'bout that - I still suffer from bad feet after all those marches I want on to stop those obscenities
