Subject: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Jeri Date: 25 Apr 20 - 03:49 PM Confusing/confused news stories have him as possibly dead. Rumors are that he may be dead, somewhat dead, or just gravely ill. Who knows, and it could be months before any facts actually squeak out. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Jeri Date: 25 Apr 20 - 03:56 PM Of course, this impeccable piece of reporting also came from the NY Post, so I may have fallen for a bit of something... |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Joe Offer Date: 25 Apr 20 - 04:22 PM Yeah, despite its long history, I wouldn't trust Murdoch's NY Post. They're the political equivalent of the Washington Times. The Kim family has ruled North Korea since 1948. The death of Kim Jong Un probably wouldn't change much. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Jeri Date: 25 Apr 20 - 04:34 PM Other reports are that he's in a "vegetative state". He can exist like that for decades. And then, there's his sister... |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: punkfolkrocker Date: 25 Apr 20 - 04:44 PM I read something online a few days ago where South Korea were dismissing this as 'fake news'... |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Joe Offer Date: 25 Apr 20 - 04:49 PM I think this has been a recurring rumor. We really won't know until they have a funeral - and then we won't be sure. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Steve Shaw Date: 25 Apr 20 - 05:06 PM The only rumours in the UK so far are in the Usual Suspects... Oops, sorry, Joe, I mean the tabloids... |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Jeri Date: 25 Apr 20 - 06:33 PM It was coming from different sources. CNN, Fox News, USA Today, and others. Although the rumors weren't all the same. They went from he's in a vegetative state, to simply nobody's heard from him for a minute. From my background, I'd say something's going on, but it really is too early to know what. Plus, the information isn't going to be forthcoming from North Korea. I guess just "watch for more info". |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Donuel Date: 26 Apr 20 - 11:12 AM I say this is the time to start your own rumors. I'd like to think he was getting a Brazilian with a straight razor when someone slipped and cut him clean off. Sanguination was the official cause of death. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Donuel Date: 27 Apr 20 - 02:10 PM Kim, you gotta to let me know Are you alive or did you go? Is it true that you drank too much wine Are you here 'til the end of time So you got to let me know Are you alive or did you go? It's always tease, tease, tease You're happy when I'm on my knees One day it's fine and next it's black So if you want me off your back Well, come on and let me know Are you alive or did you go? Are you alive or did you go? now? Are you alive or did you go? now? If you go, there will be trouble And if you stay it will be double So come on and let me know This indecision's bugging me (esta indecisión me molesta) If you are dead, set me free (si el morto, librarme) Exactly whom I'm supposed to be (dígame que tengo ser) Don't you know your clothes don't fit me? Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Dave the Gnome Date: 28 Apr 20 - 11:51 AM He's in a vegetative state? Maybe that's why he gets on so well with Trump :-D |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: robomatic Date: 29 Apr 20 - 11:56 PM Actually, the more perceptive news sources indicate that all it takes to locate him is a bit of trainspotting. Ever since his dad had an innocent planeload of civilians bombed to get one guy, the Kims go everywhere on the rails for some reason. |

Subject: RE: BS: Kim Jong Un - Fallen off his Perch? From: Jim Carroll Date: 02 May 20 - 10:15 AM While I have no love for this man, I find it strange that some here don't put the spotlight on their own leaders occasionally (any Americans here ?) I find Trump's winding up the Doomsday clock far more of a threat than anything coming from North Korea It's often forgotten that a large part of the responsibility for what happens in today's Korea lies with America's having partially succeded in BOMBING 'EM BACK TO THE STONEAGE The US went on to further glories in Vietnam and Cambodia with their burning petrol and carcinogenic sprays This in no way absolves the North Korean leaders from what happens there but all this wishing a tyrant dead seems a little Tweedledum good, Tweedledee bad to me Sorry 'bout that - I still suffer from bad feet after all those marches I want on to stop those obscenities Jim Carroll |
