It's already 10.00 A.M. on January 1st, the year is flying by.....

I don't make resolutions, but I have hopes.

Same from me in Manchester - just the occasional firework as I look out the window; pleased to see the New Year's Concert is going ahead in Vienna, and look forward to watching just after breakfast...

There is less celebration this year but there is some. At the new town square, the grocery store, I could swear I saw 2 cabbages celebrating.
Little did I know that my son who receded into virtual gaming is now most prepared for the current world.

We are who are and ain't what we ain't so be happy what you have for now.

Sydney's famous fireworks lasted 7 mins last night, if anyone wants to see them. I'm not into fireworks

I don't make resolutions either (every day is new year's day!) but I decided I really must finish two craft projects, one has waited the best part of a year for 4 buttonholes, which will be done by the time craft group meets in 2 weeks.
