BS: pop-ups: 'Before you go . . . '

Subject: BS: pop-ups: "Don't go yet ! '

While browsing on the Internet, I noticed a relatively recent trend.
Many websites now have pop-ups that come up as one is getting ready
to LEAVE a particular page;
they seem to be triggered by the way I move the cursor / mouse.

Of course they are always advertising a deal of some sort,
but it's:

"Before you go . . . "
and
"Don't go yet !"

Anybody else being bothered by this subtype of pop-ups?
THey are kind of transparent-looking,
you can see the page underneath / through them.

That's what AdblockPlus, AdGuard Adblocker, and many other browser extensions are for.
