The surgery was successful - here we are 19 years later and John is celebrating his Eightieth birthday singing and playing concertina at an Old Songs concert in Voorheesville New York (near Albany). At Last after many years as being friends.....John and I really have something in common...Successful Open Heart Surgery ...
I have been through the process in the last 7 days.....and but for Bone & Body healing...I am OK..

I look forward to several more years of spending time and singing with my good friend...ie when I am allowed to drive again...Best to all....

Yeah, I followed the advice of a Mudcatter who thought it was not good to revive a 2005 surgery thread. I agree. Please think twice before refreshing old threads that might cause a tizzy.
