...let me be the first to welcome Dr. Sound's Music Clinic to the Mudcat....Dr. Sound makes and plays very large and very small pan pipes (and every size in between); flute; various stumps; bamboo pipes and all manner of blowable instruments, and he writes and sings wonderful music...Hello and welcome, Dr. Sound...harpgirl

Dr. Sound, any friend of Harpgirl's is welcome here, particularly one who makes great music. I hope you enjoy it here. I'll beat Spaw to it and hope you actually arrive, unlike some people who've been introduced to us.

Well, since harpgirl and I were playing music with Dr. Sound earlier tonight, I will have to second the motion of welcoming Dr. Sound to the Mudcat. We had flute, autoharp, and guitar playing at one time and it was good music ... moonchild

...I see that Dr. Sound has put one of his pan pipes up for auction. They are very tonally true and sound great. I have a D pipe...unfortunately, Dr. Sound still can't find his way into the Forum!...Let me see if I can help him...harpgirl

...who the hell is Dr. Boom????? is he a Neil Young Center graduate?...

Dr. Sound and I are playing the first opening of the Claude Pepper Art Gallery next month...we need a name, though...we can't be Springhoppers unless we are playing a spring......imagine pan and diana coming out of the woods to entertain the elderly glitterati....harpgirl

Y'all doin' this NEKKID???

So....WHERE IS HE? This is the most elaborate ruse anyone has put on yet folks!!! Harpy has even invented a little website, put a flute in the auction, enlisted Moon as an accomplice.........I mean Hiroshi was pretty amateurish, and with Fast Eddie, katlaughing upped the ante considerably, but NOW!!!! WOW, I am impressed I must say. Notice how she keeps adding to the story to make ol' Dr. Boom more believable....uh, Dr. Sound.....uh,huh........Anyway, here we are about to start crankin' out names for this "act" and going for the Hiroshi/Fast Eddie thing again.......Oh well, I'll play along and maybe Doc Toots will show up.......sure...............uh,huh..............

As no-one has ever seen Dr Sound and Dick Gaughin in the same room at the same time, maybe they're one and the same.

Wasn't Dr Sound one of the Phabulous Phive Phoak Heroes? He was the one that could split solid objects just by intoning an F sharp. Then there was Banjomaster, who could clear any room in 5 seconds.

No Leej, that was Hi Zinger, the little guy with the striped shirt and cords, just used his voice. Dr. Boomsound played the Flatulflute, had a big hit with "Ode to the Outhouse" which was later scammed by Billy Edd Wheeler.

Hey, LEJ, I may not be able to beat Joebro's 2-minute lyric response but I can empty a room in 4 seconds!
I think Dr Sound is an intern at the NYCFTTS, at least he said he was a proctologist. I think he's away looking up some old friends, Eddie & Hiroshi.

Well Skiff, gawd knows there are a lot of bums there.

But really now......Isn't this pathetic? After enlisting Moon's help and whipping up a website, inventing a gig for the duo, and all.......NOW the harpster is going for the "pity" factor! I mean, now we're supposed to feel sorry for her since the illusive Flatulfluter of the '60's is a no-show. I can hardly wait to see what's next!!! We're about ready for a dubious post from Dr. Pan-Drippings himself. Oh yeah....that oughta' be good. It was the first thing that Hiroshi and Fast Eddie did wasn't it? Kinda' going backwards.

Okay Harp...Bring on ol' Doc Sonicsound.......we're ready. (Hoo-boy--This oughta' be good!)

Well here we all are still waiting............Evidently Ol' Harpy didn't want to try the fictitious post thing since she got called on it in advance......I wonder what she'll come up with now...........'Scuse me while I give the good doctor a holler...

YOOHOO.... OH DR.SOUND.....YO... BOOM BOY.......... SOUNDERFELLA.......... COME AND TOOT IT..............

ssshhhhh................... hear anything........... ...............................

uh,huh....

Okay Harpgirl, have it your way...I put a welcome on his new thread and I hereby issue this Public Apology...for having several typos in my postings.

You know I'm kidding...and I'm glad that El Tooto showed up. Seems to be a nice guy.........and I was really enjoying a few of your last posts, almost pleading, so plaintive. So you're off the hook, and I'm glad you are!!! But thanks for the fun!! Its getting to be a rare commodity around here lately.

I think he was impressed that we still remember the Phabulous Phive Phoak Heroes. Who was the guy who had the power to alienate entire audiences just by plugging in an electrical cord? Oh, yeah! Zimmer Man!
