First, I'd like to applaud whoever it was suggested using them to resolve 'issues' here on Mudcat... Thanks for the wonderful suggestion!

But a question... Is there a way to delete a message without archiving it first??

I am mystified as to why such a suggestion should need to be made as I thought it was obvious that certain matters are better dealt with via personal communication whether that be the Mudcat system, email (my preffered method) or whatever else can be used outside the forum.

...but to answer your question, Clinton - currently, there is no way to delete a message without archiving it first. I've wondered about that myself. It's one of those things that Max could do for us if only he didn't have to work for a living.
