Subject: Obit: Kath (cathy) Bainbridge From: GUEST,Jim Bainbridge Date: 29 Mar 25 - 06:32 AM My dear sister passed away on 24 March. She was a singer in Edinburgh 60s group 'Bliss point', an early member of the University folk club and pianist & singer with the Marsden Rattlers from her home town. Later a psychotherapist and published poet, she became literally a 'Hexhamshire Lass' in an old mill house across a ford over the Rowley Burn. RIP Kath, you'll be sadly missed by your loving brother & many others. |

Likewise her University days, although she was the one who forged the long lived links between folk clubs of South Shields and St Andrews . Her younger sister Susan is well known in the London traditional scene and also played piano with the Marsen Rattlers, mainly depending on where the band were playing! |
