Subject: A COUPLE OF KARLA BONOFF SONGS

I'm trying to figure out the lyrics to a couple of songs by Karla Bonoff. In particular "Falling Star" and "Rose in the Garden." Chords to these and to "Lose Again" would make me the happiest of women.

Anyone out there know these?

March 2000, better late then never.

Karla Bonoff has been a favorite of mine since Linda Ronstadt's 'Hasten down the wind' 1976, Karla wrote 3 of the songs. Her first solo album was about the same time. My two old albums are gone and no CD replacements, yet. I have 'All my life, Best of' 1999, great stuff. Anyway.

All of Karla's lyrics are available on her new bands' website, www.bryndle.com, no sheet music, no tab.

Fingerpicking Tab to 'The water is wide' Karla Bonoff with James Taylor is on the OLGA\miscellaneous\traditional. Nice version, good practice for me, a rookie guitarist.

Roy

I am with you on this. I would like to learn falling star also and have been looking. there are a few KB songs on olga.net (i think). I am going to see her in concert next month and I'll be watching the guitar players real close! Email me if you've already figured it out.

Wow! I disappeared for almost as long as this thread did and now it's popped up about the same time I did. I never did get the chords to any of these songs, so the request still lives.

I can actually play more than three chords now, so if anyone does have this information, I'll be watching the thread to see what develops ...

Thanks, ww

I have found chords to "Falling Star" and Linda's version of "All My Life". Any new action on this thread would help out a few of us. Thanks, Roy
