Great song, both in the original, and in Linda Ronstadt's cover version. It's been years since I heard it, but I'll try the lyrics from memory. I'll also plant chords in the lyrics in the first verse, as close as possible to where they belong, in the key of G (hope this comes out as legible as it is while typing):

Good luck is right! One of these days I'll learn to do this chord/lyric thing properly. In the mean time, if you're familiar with the song and patient with my text, you may be able to make sense of it. Good thing you didn't ask me to transcribe Waddy Wachtel's singing Les Paul line from Linda's recording -- wouldn't have been pretty.
