Anyone remember the song IF by Bread and the writer something Gates?

Well Shambles, if it was Mr. Gates, I do not think Bill could have possible picked out such lovely notes as you hear in the original tune If by David.
Microsoft Corporation most likely would want to select something from a military march theme to represent their cause.

Has no-one else noticed how nonsensical these words are? The melody is lovely, the only good thing about the song. I remember that Telly Savalas, in his wisdom, discarded the melody and used only the words in his recording.
