Yes, well we are on the right track. Not sure what a "little" tomorrow would be -- perhaps a sweet tomorrow. Mrr is in the ballpark, but I'm not sold on his Spanish. "Cantabal redavi" may be "cantaba el rey David" -- of which King David sang. Not criticizing, I know you are doing your best to help & I appreciate it! == Johnny

Thanks for your help on my request for Birthday Songs. I just remembered that I have a Mexican songbook. It might take a day or two to find it, but I'll forward the lyrics when I unearth them. Do you know the tune? Also, If you have a Mac, I can tell you how to access the ~ and the accents. I haven't figured out how to email or send messages to people who reply to Forum messages yet.

Hooray! I found it. This is the regular spelling version in Spanish, but I only have one verse:

Estas son las mañanitas
Que cantaba el Rey David:
Hoy por ser día de tu santo

Hi - you'll find lots of Spanish-language songs, including two songs with the title "Las Mananitas," at www.elmariachi.com (click). It's the best place I've found for Spanish lyrics.
