Listen to all those other 'Catters advice to "think positive," and learn from my mistakes. (I once had to wait nearly two weeks for the results of a biopsy, during which time I 1) got very depressed and 2) spun out every horrible outcome scenario I could think of. When the biopsy came out negative (a positive outcome, go figure), I realized how much time and emotional energy I'd used up thinking the worst.)
Seriously, Cap'n, keep your spirits up, know I'm thinking of you with love, do the research you need to feel you can advocate for yourself, and for heaven's sake let us all know how it comes out. I'll join Mary in looking forward to hearing you sing in Maine in February -- if not before! |
