He and his wife Pam are two of the most warm, welcoming people you're likely to meet. When Dave is not singing with his band Oak, Ash and Thorn, he is out fighting fires with the Piedmont, CA fire department, sometimes being called by neighboring communities to fight the many brush fires that spring up in the East bay's dry summers. A trained paramedic, saving lives, homes and places of work is his profession. On top of that, in the best culinary tradition of firefighters, Dave can cook a mean 5-alarm Indian Curry. Along with what chanteyranger mentioned, he also had a high dive act that met with mixed reviews, hence the retirment of the gorilla suit......well actually half a gorilla suit. He would climb to a perch on a 90 foot tower dressed in half a gorilla suit and fishnet hose, leap off, ignite a monstrous fart, and rocket down into a fire helmet filled with lime jello. This inspired both applause and some massive coronaries so you can see why he no longer performs the act. Well ES.....unhh....unhh....POW. ...... and a Happy Birthday too!!! Spaw |

Be warned, though, there are at least 15-20 Tavern threads, in various guises, all with at least 100 postings, so sit back and enjoy. Then he dropped the object on the table, vanishing out the back door. Swan ripped the Sunday Funnies wrapping paper away and opened the slender box. Inside lay a hand-painted navy-blue neck tie sporting a pink nude with blonde hair and red lips. Beneath it, Madison had scrawled with a fountain pen "to Swan on his Bday...thanks for teaching me everything I know...BM". He put it on slowly, tying an elaborate windsor knot. Her bear-slippers whispering aagainst the linoleum, PJ entered the room. This, he thought to himself, is going to take some explaining. She put her lips very close to his ear and whispered "Happy Birthday Baby...meet me in the bedroom." She walked slowly away, then turned and said "and you can leave your tie on."
