Ola, just reading the "GUEST" thread it seems to me that it is in everyones interest to encourage guests, surely it en-riches the whole experience. I for one enjoy reading theses threads and learning more about what I love!

*sigh* it isn't the "guests" that raise our ire; 'tis the regulars masquarading as "guests" /and or anonymous that use the anonymity to flame and bait. If I'm pissed off at someone I say so and use my name; or I take it to personals.

"Sigh" is right, Mario. It doesn't seem to matter HOW many times we say that it's the NASTY "guest posts" that make the forum less and less friendly each week. Some just "don't get it" (or don't want to). Friendly "guests" continue to be welcomed with open arms. Thanks Kendall and M.

Jawbone, guests are certainly welcome here. As others pointed out, there are mean messages from some who deliberately log in as an anonymous guest that have disrupted the otherwise fun and folksy discussions at this forum.

There's another category of "guests"...those who don't attach any moniker to the 'guest' tag and don't flame or troll....

WOW...glad I became a member myself...I feel like family now. And it is nice meeting all you folks here on mudcat. We are all from different walks of life and we are NOT going to agree on everything here...whoever does. But, we need to keep in mind that all have an opinion here...and we won't see eye to eye on it...so don't get bent out of shape on it...as the saying goes.... Don't worry.....be happy !!! wELCOME. rEAD THROUGH THE THREADS AND YOU WILL SEE THAT SOME OF US NEVER RESPOND TO (Damn Capslock) Guests whose sole purpose is to humiliate, anger, stir up anomosity, troll, flame, etc. If you choose to remain a guest, you are welcome. There is no requirement of membership to be accepted. And each of started out as guests before making the decision to become members.

Please share what you have, ask questions, post lyrics, visit Hearme to listen or perform. Watch out fot Cletus and Paw and Uncle Spaw.
