Hallo all, já I am back on the forum, just got my computer fixed and I did it my self. I have always been afraid to take the computer a part but the other night I had nothing to do so I took apart and fixed it.Here in Iceland the winter is coming slowly over us.The news are that the film " Dancer in the Dark " With Björk is coming to a America that is New York to begin with. They say the film is a very good one and the music that Björk made for the film is great. At the moment there is no foreign folk band in Iceland. The McGinty from Novia Scotia should be in Iceland soon or I hope they will come back this year. I posted a little pack to Max 8 days ago, a video tape and some pictures of a trip my band took to a plays in the north Iceland. I sing at home and play and I think about what i will sing in Wales if I can get a good flight fear to London, some old Icelandic traditional songs like this one " Krummi svaf í Klettagjá " it is a song about the raven or some songs from Vestmann Islands Witch I am from. Well I have been watching the forum and I know that I lost a lot a good and bad threads. I saw a thread about healing and reiki and other like matter.I saw a thread about a about new member on mudcat and she wrote that some of the mudcatters bembers didint take her well. I am sad to hear that, we does not always agree with everything but thats us but we have to respect eatch other - Right?.

If some mudcatters are on the road to Iceland or going through Iceland both ways with a stopp please let me know on the forum.

Well I will be around tonight, this is good for now all the best skarpi Iceland.

Welccome back, Skarpi. Say, if I sent you MY computer, would you fix it--seeing you have a long hard winter coming in, you might just need something to keep you occupied (just kidding).

Hi skarpi, sounds like you're doing well and I'm impressed at your courage in taking apart the computer! That's good news about the Bjork film; since I live in New York I'll keep my eyes (and ears) open for it. I hope you make it to Wales for the gathering; I have been experiencing lots of wistful vicarious pleasure reading about all of the preparations. Best, Margaret

skarpi, you need to have a PC and to be running IE4 or Netscape equivilant browser to get use Hearme. There are a couple more requirements but really if you meet that, it is best to try it and see what happens. It involves the download of a small plug in that happens automatically. Just go to http://www.geocities.com/anneuicocaire/hearme.html and try to join the song circle.

Kat, I believe you meant "telligible," because "intelligible" means it doesn't make sense. If you want my opinion, I couldn't understand a word of it. ;-)

(Now I'm sitting here saying "in-tell-i-GIBBle" over and over again, amazed at some of the funny words we have. I think I should probably go to bed.)

Skarpi, it is VERY good to have you back!

Thanks, but it is intelligible, Jeri, and it does sound funny!(I did miss putting the "i" in after the "g".) UNintelligible is what you were thinking of, I think. It's from the same roots as intelligence.:-)
