Don't know the song, sorry. I searched for 'Put me in your pocket' on google- amazing number of songs use that phrase! None were the right ones though. But try here: Folk Music Index and scroll down to 'P' for several songs with that title.

Don't know how to thank you. We knew my Mom used to sing this song long time ago and she just passed away last Saturday. We wanted to put the words in her memorial pamphlet and Thanks to you we can. I was too little to remember her singing it but my brother recalled the chorus. What a thrill it was to hear it, just hope Mom could hear it too.
