My son, Ben, is an aspiring singer and he wants to find the lyrics to the old Nancy Sinatra hit, These Boots Are Made For Walkin'. Can anyone help?

When I had the 45 of this song (in 1966?), it had a little scratch, so at the very end Nancy would say, "Are you ready boots? Ready boots? Ready boots? Ready boots?..." and then we'd bump the record player and she'd say, "Start walkin'!" Kind of a surrealistic tag to a strange song. Of course, it did contain the immortal line, "You keep lyin' when you oughta be truthin'."
Remember the (usually mispronounced) name of the designer whose boots inspired the fashion fad and the song?

Aloha,
Mark

Aw geeziz Mark............I've been LMAO for 5 minutes at the thought of THAT record stuck on THAT line!!!!!!! Cracked me up!!!!!! Thanks.

So Chuck..........Does your son LIKE this song or what? Is it a project on walking songs or something? Would he like the lyrics to any other gems, like say, "Tennessee Birdwalk?"

Spaw
