Guest Pam:

It's not a good idea to make a new request in a thread about a different song. More people will see your request if you start a new thread. Also, we don't like to have discussions of two different songs jumbled up in one thread; it gets too confusing.

Accordingly, I have started a new thread for you here: Lyr Req: The Very Best Band (Sharon, Lois & Bram)

I learned this at Girl Scout camp in the 60s, and then as a mom, sang it with my daughter. She and her son sing it, and I'm looking for sheet music for it so he can play it for her, now that he is taking piano lessons.

Judy Garland and Micky Rooney sang it in an old movie - don't know the name of it, though. Does anyone know it?

The version we sing is:

Skinnamarinky-dinky-dink
Skinnamarinky-do
I love you

Skinnamarinky-dinky-dink
Skinnamarinky-do
Indeed I do, 'deed I do

I love you in the morning and in the afternoon
I love you in the evening and underneath the moon, Oh,

Skinnamarinky-dinky-dink
Skinnamarinky-do
I love you, I love you

I know that Skinnamarinkydoo is from The Elephant Show. The hand motions for it look like an elephant waving its trunk. ??????????????????
