Date: 10 Nov 99 - 04:38 PM I don't have the address of Henrik Norbeck's home page, so go to fsgw.org, click on links, and scan down to his homepage and click on it. From there you'll have to click on his new address, and when you get it, just look for ABCMUS, and download it. His program doesn't recognize the standard tempo designation with Q: and L: of the tunes in the Forum, but you can probably ignore that, especialy if you just want chords. Under 'Play' in his program click on chords and you'll see them. I trust you know how to copy the Forum thread to your computer, strip off the HTML and relabel the file with an extension .ABC

This was not intended to be thread creep for ABC v MIDI - just an honest offer to provide the tune with accompaniment in a small file - about 6Kb is hardly massive! HTML emails are bigger! Truce?!! |

I put them in but never write them down, as I never play it the same way twice!! As it 'appens I usually go from D to D7 between lines to give a feeling of movement (don't want any remarks about constipation, thanx!)... Added to that, I tend to connect C and Am with a c - b - a bass run, G to Em with g - f# - e, and C to G with c - b - a - g. Lump that in with wobbling my fingers around on the chords, and it starts to go beyong a simple text explanation!! Keep an eye open for my next album, as it's going to be on it...
