So, anything happening? I'm on one of those godawful early morning flights out of Manchester on the 23rd, and will be coming down fairly early on the 22nd (4 ish?) thanks to the vaguaries of Vermont Transit. Any possibility of music, a beer or two, dinner (I hear that there's good ethnic food to be had in Manchester)? I realize that it's a rotton time as folks tend to be quite busy, but you never know.

Hi Susan A-R, that's a Fri & there's a singing session in Portsmouth starting around 4 (till 9pm), don't know if I'd be able to make it, that being right at the start of the holidays but there's a chance, if I can I'd be happy to swing by Manchester & you probably could camp out at our place depending on what the family's got scheduled. They know it's useless to give me a heads up so they just give me a day or two notice & we're all better off for it. Let me know what you think & I'll see what we're up to on this end. Barry

Hmmm, the reason I'm going to Manchester (NH stands for New Hampshire, ie New England, the states) is that I fly out of Manchester for Arizona at 6 a.m. on the 23rd. I've taken a room at a hotel on the airport access road to make it as painless as possible, so I should either just rock at Portsmouth until about 4 and return to Manchester in time for my flight, or make a fairly sedate evening of it in the immediate vicinity of Manchester and its airport.

I'm going to be the session, otherwise, I could meet you in Manchester. The session is loud and smoky, but there's some great singing and playing that happens. If Barry can pick you up, we get both you and him! Airplanes are great places to take naps, by the way.

She mentioned there'd be a good shot of swinging by & grabbing then off to the session with all of us (maybe the kids too?). Sorry Barry, travel is still a little uncertain, does look like I'll be in Manchester by 5:30 on Friday, but not before. Does this still work? Also, how big a deal is it to get me BACK to Manchester after the singing is done? I have a hotel room, and do have to catch the 6 a.m. flight (meaning airport by 5 a.m, I fear.)

This may be getting too complicated. If so, just let me know. I WILL check the thread tomorrow night. Life has been too wild to even check email for the past few days. Am I really supposed to be Christmas and travel ready in two days?
