Subject: RE: Incredible shrinking Ozone hole. From: Peter T. Date: 12 Dec 00 - 06:41 PM Just part of the planetary wave fluctuations -- ozone holes are seasonal. (There was a seasonal ozone thinning long before chloroflurocarbons came along). We have another 60 years or so before we are out of this bad patch. But the Ozone agreement is one of the few causes for hope that human beings can clean up their global act! yours, Peter T. |

Subject: RE: Incredible shrinking Ozone hole. From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 12 Dec 00 - 07:04 PM There's a hole in the Ozone, in the layer, the layer, there's a hole in the ozone, in the layer, a hole.

Subject: RE: Incredible shrinking Ozone hole. From: paddymac Date: 13 Dec 00 - 01:36 AM A part of "the problem" is that our ability to measure such things has out run our ability to comprehend. Perhaps more accurately, we are now able to collect and massage vast amounts of data, but often don't have a long enough period of record to really understand the implications of the mass of shorter term observations. |
