I've often thought that we need different kinds of dollars to pay for different things.

Like...

A dollar with 10% water added - to use for buying ham.
A dollar thats only about 1 inch wide for buying low fat food.
A dollar with fine print that says 'only valid in groups of 50' for those special offers that require you to buy $50 of groceries before you get item at the special price.
A dollar that's securely welded inside a steel container - for buying anything that is shrink wrapped.
A dollar with a sticker on it that can't be removed without destroying the dollar - to buy anything that has such a sticker on it.

OK. That's a start, any of you have any more?

A dollar with dye that comes off on your fingers for buying red pistacchios

a dollar printed on food..(cheese, spam, crackers..etc..) to give to panhandlers & beggars when they 'claim' to need something to eat and you suspect that might not be quite the truth...

You could always give them money which has bar codes for specific foodstuffs, too, Bill.

Money made out of recylced cat hair good only for purchasing more litter and "fishie" for the little darlings.

I'd be happy if they'd all just accept monopoly money; it's so much more colourful!

I really like the idea. How about when you are late with a payment and they add the service charge, the money changes to + $10 (0r whatever) more without deducting the amount from your account?

We could take this a step farther--hairballs for cat food, dust bunnies for cleaning supplies, etc.! LOL!

Barter! We love barter! Rutabagas for parsnips, tomatoes for a Cleaning Lady.......
