You might check at this site which is dedicated to links to free sheet music. When I did a search on google.com I found lots of stores which had books with it in them.

Stand By Me must rival Yesterday for cover versions - even Mohammed Ali's done a creditable rendition. Here's a page that has the lyrics and guitar chords, but no mention of fiddle! This phenomenal song even has a fan club of its own, the , which boasts Ben E King among its members.

Hi Catters

I know that this is not actually trad but does anyone have the notes to Stand By Me by Ben E King. My son is trying to find this so he can play it on his fiddle for a school piece of work.

We can find plenty of chords but that aint no good to him.
