Subject: RE: Robert Johnson From: Wesley S Date: 14 Feb 01 - 04:18 PM Either PBS or A&E has broadcast a special featuring John Hammond and his search for Robert Johnson's grave. If I'm not mistaken they found about three possible locations. Hopefully it will be shown again. |
Subject: RE: Robert Johnson From: dwditty Date: 14 Feb 01 - 05:15 PM Searching for Robert Johnson is available on video. Some great music too. Epecially Honey Boy Edwards. Another video called something like I Heard The Wind Howl My Name is narrated by that Danny Glove with Keb Mo' playing the part of Robert. I like Hammond's of the two. He interviews people who knew Robert including Willie Mae. Very touching. My daughter gave me a book called Love in Vain for Christmas which is a screen play of a yet to be produced movie about Robert. dw |
