Subject: Big T From: GUEST,Joe Date: 17 Mar 01 - 09:28 AM I am looking for information and maybe more lyrics to a song that I got from an old 60's TV series, "Then Came Bronson" with Michael Parks. I'm not sure of the song title but it might be "Big T Water". The chorus goes: Big T water, down the mountain to the plains, Big T water, we don't care if it never rains, Sunshine and water, make those crops grow fine, Big T water keep a rollin' on down the line. Thanks |

Subject: Lyr Add: BIG T WATER From: Lin in Kansas Date: 24 Oct 01 - 03:02 PM I found my cache of ancient LPs (interred in a box since we moved three years ago!) and "Long Lonesome Highway" was in it—so, here tis (one word I'm not sure of): BIG T WATER Produced and Arranged by James Hendricks © Rivers Music Co./BMI Performed by Michael Parks on "Long Lonesome Highway," MGM Stereo SE 4662 (MGS 2134) Down Big Thompson Canyon, across the Great Divide, I can hear her water rollin', and runnin' deep and wide. Carryin' the life stream to the people down below, Big T Water, don't you move along so slow. CHORUS: Big T Water, down the mountain and to the plains, Big T Water, we don't care if it ever rains. Sunshine and water will make those crops grow fine, Big T Water, keep a rollin' down the line. Back in the 30s, when the hard Depression hit, All the men for miles around were diggin' in Thompson Pit. Workin' from dawn to sunset, just to make that desert bloom, Now Big Thompson Country (?) people got a lot of room. CHORUS Repeat last line: Big T Water, keep a rollin' down the line. |
