My sister and I, and possibly a couple friends, will be going the the North Carolina Renaissance Faire on Saturday, March 31st in Raleigh. Is anyone else going to make it??

I wil be unable to make it this year - have a wedding to attend that day - and with one thing or another can't afford the 12 hours trip each way. Have fun Matt! Don't try to hard to avoid the wenches...

My sis and I are carpooling our friends Ryan and Josie (his girlfriend) up to NC State to attend the NC Newman Center leadership retreat with folks from Newman here at ECU and NCState, UNC, etc on Friday night-Saturday afternoon.

After we leave there, we'll be headed to the Renfaire. Our other Newman buddy Daniel will probably be going to the fair to, in his truck. I threatened to have him wench walked after he body-slammed Josie's teddy bear...

So, the Newman contingent WILL be there this year, lol!

For that much, is there anyone out there who works at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire South? It's located in Sunny Devoid (Err... Devore) California... Registration is coming up March 30, and while I'm not working it, I'm going to be out there to visit a few friends...

Melani... Nah, very little chance of me being at Val this year. Tahoe's a wee bit of a drive from Southern California, and without employment or vehicle it makes getting around and planning difficult...

MMario - Read the thread, but honestly have no clue. It'd be a bit more helpful if you've contacted the person to find out if the song was sung by a specific group there, or if it was a random patron. Groups can be tracked. Patrons, however...

Great! we will be looking forward to seing you. Are you goinna be performing too or just visiting? We will be in Scottish attire doing mostly Scottish songs & Irish tunes. Male & female duo she plays the Hammer dulcimer I play guitar & Bouzouki. (Just so you know what to look for)

Gypsy-- I'll be easier to find this time, working my booth. It's called Leather & Lace, and I"m usually right next to the Seadogs, at the front gate. Looking forward to catching up with you this time!
