No, it does not sound stupid at all, you may be right, but I think you should confront this demon. It may be the best thing to do - bring some understanding to your present life. I hope you go and find some sort of peace.
I don't know enough about reincarnation to help you, but I am sure there are a few here on the mudcat that can offer you some.

Thanks Patrish. This is probably going to sound really stupid, but I keep on dreaming about what it was like, and I think tht if you repeatedly dream about a period of history, you were probably there in a past life. That's the main reason that I don't want to go, in case I died there in a past life and it brought back the previous incarnation's memories.

I think I would feel similar to you, but would go because all those people had died. A witness to the evil. Its like a lot of things in this life - you can't ignore others suffering because it hurts you. I think you may feel bad if you don't go. But do what your heart tells you - if you really can't face it, talk to the parents. Good luck

I'm off exploring next Friday!! I'm going to Berlin with college so that's why I'll be a bit quiet on the threads.

Has anybody got any ideas how to avoid being upset by Sachsenhausen? They're intending taking us there and the parents are insisting that I go. I don't want to because I will probably sense the people that were murdered there. How can I block that out?? Or alternatively, how do I convince the parents to let me go to the town near it instead, cos they let people who don't want to go to the camp go to town and then collect them afterwards.
