Read "Info" for "Help," as this is not a request for help, but a giving of information: Just want to let everyone know that Roger Nicholson, a terrific dulcimer player, is soon to be arriving and will be performing in Cambridge, MA. If there is interest, I can give details. Jean

I saw Roger Nicholson (with Jake Walton) many years ago! If he has been practicing and getting better in the meantime, this will be a great treat...wonderful player!

I think he's to be at Cambridge in May as I recall from a newsletter. Certainly a treat for anyone to hear. He gave the App a different "voice" with the light fingerpicking and different music.....Kind of something old coupled with something new. Anyway, if I were in that area, I'd sure try to be there.

Spaw

Sounds great. Somebody ask him if he's related to the Philadelphia (Quaker) Nicholsons. If so, he's a cuz of mine, somehow!

If you can't make it to Cambridge, try Wareham (almost Cape Cod) the week before. April 28, 2001 (Saturday) 7 to 9 pm: Roger Nicholson joins Lorraine and Bennett to play for diners at the Rosemary Inn, 330 Main St., Wareham, MA, 508/295-5369

April 29, 2001 (Sunday) 1 p.m.: Bennett and Lorraine join English dulcimer player Roger Nicholson for an afternoon of workshops (singing, harp, guitar, autoharp and dulcimer) followed by an Italian buffet dinner and informal music making at the Rosemary Inn, 330 Main St., Wareham, MA, 508/295-5369 (reservations required)

Yea, this Rosemary Inn sounds like a very intelligent restaurant!
