I don't know the words, but I think it was recorded by the group "Trapezoid" back in the 1980s

Thank's Carol. With your info I tracked down a Trapezoid record,"Three Forks of Cheat" which came out in 1978. It does have a track on it "West Virginia". I will have to check it out. Thanks!
