Another Easter gone and another Lancaster over, a marathon of a festival, sheer enjoyable exhaustion, it would seem everyone had a magic time. Was it the last? It would be a national calamity. Everyone who was there write to the Lancaster Guardian and tell them about it.
Met Dave the Gnome, (big lad for a gnome!) and Spot the Dog and the Norwegian branch of the Baggyrinkle fan club, Stewie, he's promised to join the 'Cat when he gets home

Baggyrinkle, Swansea Shantymen.
A baggywrinkle or bag o' rinkle is one of those big furry things, made from teased out old rope, you see in the rigging on sailing ships which prevents the sails chafing on the mast stays. We just left out the "w". It's a good ice-breaker at gigs when people come up and ask "What's a baggyrinkle, is it anything to do with the way you look?"*BG*
