Have just returned from the Moor and Coast festival in Whitby and saw a Canadien band Tanglefoot for the first time. If you've seen them you'll know why I'm raving and if you haven't check out their website and find out when you can see them. Their songs have some wonderful lyrics that will make you laugh and cry. One of the band, Al Parrish has a voice that has been described as being something in between melted chocolate and sex!!Try a look at their website. HERE

Aah Mrs. Duck I'm glad you got to see Tanglefoot. We saw them a little over a month ago and they said they were headed to England. Good to see that they're liked there.

Seems I am not the only member of the Duck family to become a Tanglefoot fan! Little Duckling (7) has become totally besotted with one of the band members, Terry Young. Before leaving Moor and Coast she collected a number of leaflets and even requested a poster from one of the pubs! She sleeps with one picture under her pillow and the others are on the wall. I let Terry know and he was so nice. He remembered talking to her as she was telling him ALL about her fiddle and thought she was a little Sweetie. He e-mailed straight back and said he would send her a photo-what a nice bloke!!

Sex, Chocolate, and Tanglefoot. Well, they are good but...

The best combination is Tanglefoot at the Chocolate Church. I haven't tried adding sex and real chocolate to that mix but there is a nice spot up behind the balcony...

I saw them last Sunday at the Wooden Horse Folk Club in Rainford. I love 'em! I now have all four of their CDs. They're at Homfirth this weekend, and finish their UK tour at Chester Folk Festival at the end of this month, with lots of other places in between. I'm hoping to catch them again before they go back to Canada.

aaaaaaaaargh i'm only 16 save me-sex isn't great especially if theres teenage boys involved but chocolate still has a bad side the fattening side. but i haven't ever seen tangle foot heard good reviews tho s xxx

Well, I'd never have guessed, without Brett's help, that this silly thread was about my favorite nouveau folk group TANGLEFOOT. I hope you all get a chance to hear them, see them, experience them, before they lose orbital velocity. Hey, I forgot to mention, they're fun too!

Tanglefoot are performing Chester FF (UK)on Sunday 27 May - Both afternoon and evening. I have seen them twice already. Highly recomended!!! As per Mrs D and J o W.
