hmmmmmmmm - not that I am volunteering anybody - but with another forum that meets at various events - we keep at notebook at the "meeting place" so people can "sign in" and also leave notes for each other. Nothing elaborate - just a notebook with a pen or pencil attached.

There was a picnic table behind the booth last year. Sandy - could we leave a mudcat notebook there?

Surely if you leave your notebook computer lying around it could get damaged or stolen or I hate to broach this one rained on. I will be the one wearing the 4 Morrismen of the Acopalypse or Arthur Black or Mill Race Folk Festival or Brampton Folk Festival Tee shirt. Those are I think the ones that were packed last night. That is until I manage to purchase a MudCat T. Unless, you don't mean a paper thingy notebook do you ?? do they still make those things ?? JohnB

Sign in notebook willingly kept at the Folk-Legacy rallying point. Rob will be setting up the tent on Friday morning. Caroline and I, leaving late (as we always seem to do) will be there in the early afternoon. T-shirts and hugs will be available for all who want them. The hugs are free; the shirts are not. Singing space behind the booth for all Mudcatters and their acquaintances (new ones or old ones).

Where can I get one of those AAFOUF baseball caps, Midchuck? I don't wear t-shirts either, Animaterra. Not with my present girth to conceal. See y'all Friday!

Thanks Charley. I would be better off if she were having a letter. I took in a little bitty stray who was being abused by some kids on the street. A neighbor rescued her but couldn't keep her because she raises birds and Alice got into the babies and scared them half to death. Even my vet didn't realize she was pregnant. Poor thing is so tiny except for her middle. She's not full grown yet herself. Do I sound like a nervous Nellie? Cats have litters on the street all the time without a problem - my current mantra.
Marymac,my nephew is coming tomorrow to finish moving out. When he heard was home after all, he made plans. Sorry. But I will be at the Getaway.

Sinsull, NEXT time we will have to plan ahead! I'm beginning to think I'm ready to give up camping! And it really does help motivate me if I plan to give someone a ride, or go with them. I think one difficult thing for me is the transition--just getting myself packed up, OUT of my apartment, and on the road! I did get my tent and sleeping bag into my car, and now I think I'll leave 'em there! So now I'm thinking about a longer trip later this summer, first to Falcon Ridge, in the Berkshires, and then to Champlain Valley, in Burlington, with visiting friends and mudcatters in between. Just leave home once, then keep on going!
